of the financial difficulties he claimed
SHELL is experiencing.
He stated under oath in his REJOINDER
page 7 No. 19 this:

demolition is being undertaken by
Euro dismantling Services Limited
under a Service Purchase Order dated
19 June 2003. It is expected that the whole
demolition work, including clean up and
demobilization, will be completed
by April 2004.

However, instead of these revelations helping him
in his defense endeavor, these revelations indicted
him even deeper into disbarment. These revelations
have become additional evidence that Atty. Quiroz
lied in his sworn statement that financial or economic
difficulties was the cause of the closure of the OLD
Plant and termination of employment of some
employees.
Your Honor, please your attention to this:
The DEMOLITION COST,
Php129,950,000.00.
Is this the manner of a company who is
undergoing financial or economic difficulties
to spend Php129,950,000.00 for a simple
demolition work? The demolition was not
needed during that particular point in time.

bagkus higit itong nagdiin sa kaniya
para madisbar, sa dahilang labis pa itong
karagdagang patunay ng,pagsisinungaling
ni Atty. Raul Quiroz na ang financial
o economic difficulties ang dahilan ng
pagsasara ng lumang planta at pagbabawas
ng kawani. Pansinin po ninyo :
Php129,950,000.00. Ganyan po ba ang
paraan ng pag-gastos ng isang kumpanyang
may financial o economic difficulties ang
gumastos ng Php129,950,000.00 para
sa isang demolition lang ?
Ang DEMOLITION na hindi naman
kailangan noong panahong iyon.
Ang CALTEX po, na halimbawa rin po
ni Atty. Raul Quiroz, na nagsara ng
lumang planta, ngunit ang DEMOLITION ay
HINDI nila naging OPTION.
Si Atty. Raul Quiroz ay kitang kita na
nagsisinungaling dapat lamang po
siyang madisbar.
